Customer Segment Specialist

The role:


Reporting into our User Planner Manager, this role centres on championing the use of segmented and personalised communications to grow Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) across the Customer Lifecycle for The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery.  Translated another way -  Reach the right consumer at the right moment with the right message.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Unlocking the value in our data and knowing how to leverage data to deliver superior customer experiences
  • Working with the CLM Customer Engagement teams, Media Strategy and Buying and Customer Loyalty team to increase the use of customer data to create engaging experiences that will increase profitability, reduce churn and build loyalty
  • Implement customer segmentation strategies that are aimed at growing LTV by creating and mapping target audiences to the right journeys/experience by their behaviours/attributes
  • Work with the Media Strategy and Buying team to augment customer data for building lookalike audiences and discovering prospects
  • Provide channel performance reporting or insights when necessary on customer engagement e.g. Open Rates, Click through rates or audience overlaps/opportunities

About you:

You’re an innovator thinker, customer centric with the knack to understand and articulate customer needs in business (and more technical) speak.  Making an impact drives you.

  • 2-3 years’ experience in related Marketing or media or ecommerce roles
  • Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Economics or related discipline
  • Experience with CRM and customer lifecycle technology (Salesforce suite would be a bonus)
  • Experience with digital analytical tools like Google analytics or Data Management platforms
